'Poetry' (Sumatran Tiger)

The Sumatran tiger is a marvellous creature. Increasingly rare on her island home, her survival is deeply threatened by the islands timber industry. The subspecies of nearby Java, and another from Bali are now extinct, as are others. If ever there was a reason to use only plantation timber from Western nations, surely this is it. It amazes & disgusts me that people are framing paintings & making door jambs from the trees that this cat needs to continue its existence.
