This was one I really enjoyed. I love painting big cats, & they don't come bigger than this magnificent beast waiting for the rainy season which announces the annual migration of the great herds. As a large male, he'll probably wait while the females bring down a Zebra or Wildebeest, and then stroll in for the choicest morsels. What a life!
