'White-faced Heron Study'

This is a fairly common bird in many parts of Australia, & doesn't seem to mind human habitation too much. We actually had one of these guys coming into our backyard in the early mornings to steal goldfish from our pond. As the goldfish were breeding well, we decided to let him have his share, it was worth it to see these elegant creatures in the glowing morning light.
