'Pied Hornbill' |

Hornbills eh! What a fascinating family of birds. From the mighty Rhinoceros Hornbill of Asia, to the more diminutive varieties found in Africa, they are stunning birds each & every one! It has been a long term goal of mine to produce a dirty great monograph of the Hornbills, but to date this is the entire catalogue of paintings I've done of them! Having said that I am currently working on a very large picture of a pair of this species in their forest habitat. But its taking a while! I've got a crappy digital photo of it which I'll probably put up under "new work". But then maybe I wont. (I'm not very good like that)
